BIOGRAPHY

Rick Urban composes music that tells a story. He combines his knowledge of the orchestra, electronic sounds, and percussion to create new sounds that quickly become a vital part of the film.
His most recent projects include composing the score for the feature film "Groupers" as well as the short film "Being".  He has composed additional music for the feature film "Dusk", and the short film "Jacob’s Paradox" . He also composed trailer music for the 2018 Netflix film The Titan
In 2016, Rick's music was featured in NBC's production of the 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro. He has had numerous television placements on such networks as FOX, NBC, MTV, Fox Sports, and NBC Sports. His music can be heard internationally in the Australian Television shows The Block and The Voice.
